The privacy of our users — and above all of the children — is the heart of Meshalevet. This policy explains what information we collect, how it is stored, and when it is revealed, in accordance with Israel's Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, as amended.
1. What information is collected
- Account details — a (verified) email address required for registration.
- Ad content — the information you chose to publish: first name, area, availability, experience, and free text. This information is visible to every visitor.
- Contact details — full name, phone, and email, stored separately from the ad in a restricted-access store, and never displayed on the site.
- Contact requests — a record of requests, approvals, and declines, which serves as documentation of consent.
2. The principle: disclosure by consent only
Your contact details and full name are revealed only to a side you explicitly approved, through the site's request-and-approve mechanism. Sending a contact request constitutes consent that if the other side approves — both sides' contact details will be revealed to each other, and to them alone.
3. Children
The site is built so that no identifying information about minors is published: ads must not include a child's name, the name of an educational institution, or any identifying detail. If you encounter an ad that violates this — report it and we will remove it.
4. Storage and security
Data is stored on Wix.com's cloud infrastructure. Contact details are kept in a separate data collection that is not accessible from the browser; access happens only through server code after permission and consent checks.
5. Use of the information
The information is used solely to operate the Service: displaying ads, managing contact requests, and sending notifications on the site and by email. We do not sell or transfer information to third parties for marketing purposes.
6. Your rights
You can edit or delete your ads and update your contact details from the personal area at any time. To request access, correction, or full deletion of your data (including your account) — contact us and we will handle the request promptly.
7. Cookies
The site uses only essential and functional cookies needed for it to work. We do not use third-party advertising, marketing, or analytics cookies.
- Login/session cookies (Wix) — keep you signed in and let the site function.
- Language preference (msh_lang) — remembers your chosen interface language.
If we ever add non-essential cookies, we'll ask for your consent first, as required.
8. Updates
We will update this policy from time to time. A material change will be announced on the site. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
